Nice to meet you

Real people, real numbers, real accountability.

Allied Numbers is a bookkeeping firm rooted in Central Illinois, serving small businesses and churches nationwide.

Amanda Malin, Founder of Allied Numbers
Our Story

Founded on 20+ years of getting books right.

Allied Numbers was founded by Amanda Malin (formerly Amanda McCormick), a QuickBooks ProAdvisor-certified bookkeeper with more than 20 years of bookkeeping experience. Amanda started the firm on a simple idea, grounded in her Christian faith: small business owners and churches deserve accurate, up-to-date books built on honesty, integrity, and accuracy — without having to become bookkeepers themselves.

Amanda's path here wasn't just professional — it was personal. For years, she worked as an office and administrative manager for small, family-owned businesses in the construction industry, so she knows firsthand what it's like inside that world. She was also married to a small business owner, and saw up close how much financial stress on a business can weigh on a family. When she was widowed in 2019 at 39, raising two young children, she made the decision to build Allied Numbers — a way to bring her bookkeeping skills back to full-time work, be present for her kids, and help other business owners and their families carry a little less of that weight.

Today, Allied Numbers is a small, dedicated team rooted in Central Illinois and serving clients nationwide — from plumbing and electrical contractors to churches managing multiple funds. We keep our client list intentionally focused so every engagement gets real, consistent attention every month.

We're proud members of the Peoria Chamber of Commerce, and we built this firm to do one thing well: keep your books accurate and current, so you can make confident financial decisions and focus on the work that matters most. See everything we offer on our Services page.

Jennifer has loved accounting since high school, first as a volunteer treasurer and, since 2015, professionally with nonprofit organizations. She recently joined Allied Numbers and brings a steady, detail-loving energy to every client's books. Outside of work, she's usually quilting, knitting, or scrapbooking with family and friends.

Krystal Stulgies, Bookkeeper at Allied Numbers

Krystal Stulgies

Krystal holds a business degree from Texas State University and has taught QuickBooks Online courses for the Small Business Administration. With experience in payroll, AP/AR, budgeting, and presenting financials to boards, she loves helping clients understand the story their numbers are telling. What Guides Us

Honesty, integrity, and accuracy — rooted in faith.

These aren't just good business practices for us. They flow from our Christian faith, and they shape how we treat every client, every month.

Honesty

We tell you the truth about your numbers, even when it's not what you want to hear. No sugar-coating, no spin.

Integrity

We do what we say we'll do, we protect your financial information like it's our own, and we stay in our lane — no overpromising, no overstepping.

Accuracy

Every number should hold up to scrutiny. We build books that are audit-ready, not just "good enough."

Keeping It Simple

A few things we don't do (on purpose).

No Tax Filing

We don't prepare or file taxes — but we keep your books clean, current, and tax-ready, so tax season is easy for you or your CPA.

No House Calls

You won't find us knocking on your door. Everything happens virtually, so you get expert help without clearing your calendar.

No Guessing

Every number is reconciled and audit-ready. If we're not sure, we'll say so — never an answer we made up.

Let's talk about your books.
